Hi All
Just checked the archives with no results so maybe it is not a problem. The grey water tank on our new Venture 5th Wheeler empties directly into the caravan park drain while we are living in it before leaving for our big lap. When doing dishes sometimes food scraps and the like will go down the drain, will these be flushed out by normal usage or would we need to flush out the tank before we start travelling. Mostly worried about smells developing.

Regards
Rocky

Any organic matter will generate smells and in particular Methane.

There isn't a lot you can do as as soon as you empty the sink or have a shower you'll end up with more in there anyhow.

Does the handbook make any suggestions?

To assist with the breakdown of the grease and foodstuff in your tank you could add some Biomagic to the system.
