Hi,

Have been trying to fix a water leak in a pioneer camper trailer since it was new. Have other owners of the pioneer campers had water leaks in and around the rear hinge? If so how did you stop it?

Thanks

G'day Austravel

We had a slight leak at the rear left but only after heavy rain once....was not able to find the source and hasnt happened since and so forgotten about it until your post.........it has not been tested in that sort of rain since..............or maybe lots of the fine red dust has filled it in somewhere hidden and done the job for us!

we have done some fairly deep water xings at times and not had a problem...so maybe that might be a clue that the water is travelling from somwhere on the body rather than entering immediately adjacent to where it is wet inside?

have you asked Pioneer?...from my experience they were a pretty decent lot to deal with and would be surprised if they werent able to help

We had the same problem and it turned out to be the water filler hadn't been attached correctly inside the rear of the camper. I took it off put some silicon around it and reclamped it and no probs since.
You'll probably find as we have quite a few things need redoing due to inept assembly.
Hope this helps.
Alan.
