Aldi 1 watt hand held UHF radio's

Have finally got around to fully checking out our "El-Cheap o" UHF hand held 1 watt radio's last weekend, in the high country.
Wow, for approx $60 for 3 units ( purchased over 2 1/2 years back, can't remember exact price ) they are going strong, working thru trees, and undulating hills for up to at least 3 km, back to base..

Impressed, and will definately use a lot more often..

Not the best on the market, but they work fine

hand held uhf...dar...you know...for when Im stuck in a puddle up to my eye balls, you come in to rescue with Darkie and I gott tell ya that you wont get ou cos my electrics are shot!LOL!!

Lucky we are over 2000kms apart or she would be in the kitchen where she belongs and would need to cheap UHF to find out what I wanted for dinner. I wonder how Nath goes????

the only reason why Kev wants one of those HF's is so that he can call me up and find out where i put his socks and undies!!LOL!!!

Maybe we're the unofficially married, married couple of EO!!!LOL!!!

Poor Sam I dunno how she puts up with his commands!LOL!
