Yes and no.

They came with my car when I bought it.

They are well made and do the job, but at around $1000 to fitout my GU 4 there is no way I would spend that on seat covers.

Haven't checked th e market for other "quality" brands.

Mr 69,

I have had them on my front seats for 4 years . If I bought a new car , they would be the first thing I bought for it . Fit like a glove , tough as and never move .

I have no idea what other brands are like .

Willie .

I had a set of waterproof canvas seat covers made for my dual cab triton, front bucket seats and rear bench seat for $420, a fraction of the cost of black duck seat covers.

The work vehicles at my old job had them fitted and they did do a fantastic job at keeping seats clean and dry.

Hi
We bought some for our brigade owned fire truck, they are a bit pricey, but good. We put them on to protect the seats, to keep resale value, when we update cab/chassis.

Shows how much things change, I bought Black Ducks for the front of my 100 series about 8-9 years ago for the princely sum of $140 and they are still good, however Michelles Sacs and Ruffnuts seem to be popular aswell over here in WA.

I can't speak about the competitors as i have never seen them, as we just get the canvas black duck seat covers for all our farm vehicles. With on farm use they do eventually wear out, but are still good value. I wash them in the washing machine, but they do shrink a bit so are harder to fit back on. Someone suggest putting them on wet to avoid this.Well worth the money to save wearing out the whole seat. We used to get them direct from the factory at Gnowangerup; pick up or posted. We haven't needed any for quite a few year though, and it sounds like the price has risen lots (or maybe that is retailer mark up).

Were the Toyota covers cheaper than Black Duck? Some years back, i noticed that Albany Toyota were selling canvas covers - Black Duck - with a mark up on the price we'd just paid factory direct.

What about Fiesta Canvas in Kalgoorlie? Goldfields Toyota used to stick em on all the mining vehicles and they were as cheap as cheaps and as tough as any I have seen.Might be worth a Dollar for an enquiry.
