We have just got all five permits needed to travel the Ann Beadell Hwy, we are travailing west to east so I will list then that way.

1. Department of Indigenous Affairs you will need to apply for Anne Beadell Hwy Yamarna to Neale Junction

2. Maralinga Tjaruta lands, you can down load a permit (in Word) from. Maralinga Tjarutja and fax it back.

3. Mamungari (Unnamed) Conservation Park. you have to call the Ceduna office Ph. 08 8625 3144 Fax. 08 8625 3123 and get one sent out, (it is the hardest form I had to fill out, and in the end because we are not going to camp in the park, we were told that we didn't need one) so it is a camping permit only.

4. Royal Australian Air Force. you need to phone them on 08 8674 3370 or fax. 08 8674 3308 speak to Wally Broome area control officer and he will send or fax permit out

5. Tallaringa Conservation Park. we got a new SA gov Desert Pass to cover this (you can get it from the store on this site) or there is a $6.50 per night camping fee, contact DEH at Pt Augusta on 08 8648 5300.

the only cost was for the Desert Pass but this cover most of outback SA. all permits only took around a week or less to obtain,

but as I write this out I have notices the the first permit is not in the folder, will have to chase them up
