Having recently traded my 4wd wagon for a 4wd twin cab, I'm now certain it was a good move.
Other than just for work purposes the ute is brilliant. After spending the last week in the bush I'm sorry I didn't get one earlier. Even with the 80L fridge in the back there is space to burn.
Also a lot lighter for a lot more space than a wagon.
Just thought I'd share.

Jim
It seems only yesterday you were extolling the virtues of your Jerrycan - you're not very faithful are you?

Tess,
The Jerry was a wonderful wagon, best value 4wd on the market. Just didn't suit my needs any longer and Hyundai does not make a T/C ute.
Of course I'm faithful, for 24 years to my wife. Certainly not to car manufacturers, why on earth would I be? No car salesman or company rep ever tended me when I was sick or made me feel special.
Brand loyalty?????
Why?

Hey jimbo
just sold my wagon on the weekend and
test drove my first dual cab yesterday, can't wait, though I will for the right bargain. Not a work vehicle and I'm trading down but still very excited.
Funny enough, I tried to buy a hilux off an
Emerald dealer last week but it was gone, tried to sell me a Ford
Ranger, i said "Yeah, a dual cab turbo diesel
Ranger for the price of the $13k Lux you sold? Sure, cash now, where do I sign!" He kind of laughed.

Hi Porl.
After watching the news tonight, I would stay away from
Emerald car dealers for a while LOL

Jim,
I have to agree.....my current GU Patrol dual cab is the most versatile rig I've ever owned.

Got to agree about a duel cab. When I went from a Bravo, got a
space cab. While think it's great, I sometimes wish that I got
another duel cab. Brian

When the kids are grown up, you can make the next move and get a single cab - fit half a dozen fridges in the back then :-))

Dual cab utes are OK if you are small in stature but for big fellas like me they are only uncomfortable buzz boxes.....:-)
BTW I saw a bumper sticker the other day... Jim Best Ford...any relation??????......lol
