might even have to get injectors done while im at it.

Why not get yours fixed? The 1HZ pumps are not the longest lived pump on the market .
Buying used 1HZ pumps is fraught with danger and I was advised against it unless you know its history.
Used pumps can still go for $400-$1000
I bit the bullet and had
mine fully rebuilt with all the major parts replaced.
It cost $1550 but it is peace of mind

I had my 1HZ 4.2 diesel pump O/haul at 290,000km. It was done at an injector pump specialist in Caboolture, Qld. It cost around $2300.00 but he did the timing belt as
well. It's just on 460,000km now and still going like a rocket. It's a '94 standard cruiser wagon with the
barn doors on the back. cheers Rex.

Take it out by yourself (not difficult at all) and give it to big truck-oriented “diesel fuel specialist” factory for overhaul. Should put your back for $1000 something.
