Hi all
I am looking for a car cradle for an HP HW6965. I note the ones on the EO shop but they come with a GPS capability while my PDA has built in GPS-- which works very well to date.
Is there a chance there is also one without GPS that will fit this unit?
Apart from that anyone got any ideas?
HP is out-- they sell one in USA but not in Australia-- despite the fact they sold the unit with Tom Tom. And you cannot (or at least I can't find out how) buy on USA site as it does not offer the opportunity for international address.
I have tried Johnny Appleseed with mixed success-- no they don't sell one but they might be able to make one up from their range of multi option brackets and holders.

How did you get it without the cradle?

Mine came boxed with the mount and I think it would be difficult to find an alternative mount that is anywhere near as good the the supplied mount.

Rusty,

Try these - I've used a 'clic-on' mount only to affix my UHF mic to - works very well but I can't comment on the PDA holder.

For my PDA I use a powered ARKON mount - it works well.

See links below:

or try expansys - where I got my powered mount from

No affiliation etc etc - just happy customer.

Rusty,

In the Shop have a look in GPS Accessories it has the 3 in 1 cradel (no GPS installed). This is the one I use.

Thanks David. Guessed there would be one just did not show up on my search last night.
To fit that range of PDA is it adjustable in width?

Yep, It has sliding brackets that come in from both sides and clamp it in place and a push button to release it. Simple, quick and easy. I use the bracket in the car and boat and have not had a problem with it. Just specify the PDA type when you order and away you go.
