Your kidding right??

There is the V8 Supercharged model, although how much power do you need, isn't the V8 up around 180Kw.

is that all...definitely needs a blower on it then!..and, after all they dont make blowers to enhance the looks of a car...so if you can why not?

not every wants the power...its usually to get increased torque

Have a look on the Toyota TRD website - Toyota approved supercharger kit bolts straight on - Giddyup

I like the current 170KW, but would love a few more for that soft sand/boat haul (but to think I used to do it with a slug NA 1HZ).

The MRS has also said we can get a new 200 series when released as well - hope they stroke the current 4.7l out to a 5.0l VVTI 190KW as reported (and no I will never buy another diesel - twin turbo or not)

Cheers

I actually think the V8's and indeed the 4.0 litre V6's could benefit greatly with a change of exhaust manifolding.
Have a look under the bonnet of either car and have a gander at the exhaust manifolds if ever a motor is crying out for headers/extractors then these ones certainly are.

Second that Andrew...extracters and a descent muffler instead of the round tank under there will get it breathing better....however, if you want some serious power, check out www.aps.com.au for a turbo system to suit :)

Hi Damon,

I have had Pacemaker extractors, high flow catalytic converters and a custom built 3 inch system and muffler fitted. Guess about 10% better performance but needs to be dynoed to prove it. Mine was but together by Australian Performance Centre in Wangara.

Speaking to Armdale 4x4, they reckon the Beaudesert Exhaust systems gives about 17% improvement. Went to them because was interested in a Unichip for improved fuel economy and range.

No alliliation with either, but happy with the exhaust system and the improved performance (wouldn't be hard if you have seen the original exhaust maniflods).

Regards,

Paul
