Not wanting to start yet another tyre debate............I believe Mickey Thompson are made by Cooper.

Now depending on where you sit this may be a good thing or a bad thing.

I fitted the mickey thompson FC-II tyres to my GU today, so far I have done about 6km on bitumen and gravel and they have performed exceptionally!!!
if you get 285s like I did you will need to buy some 3/4 nuts to fit the spare to the carrier on the back door, even then it is hard to get your EO wheel cover on a new tyre!!!

I had Pro Comp muds for 4 years, (2 sets).... great tyre except when I needed to replace one in a hurry, it had to be freighted from Melbourne and the freight cost an arm, a leg and almost 1 of my children!!!!!!! Thankfully, I was here on the Gold Coast and NOT at Weipa or somewhere, the freight would have probably cost me my mortgage!!!!!!!!!!

So now I have gone to another brand, quite popular and are stocked apparently everywhere.

Just something to consider.

Cheers

Brian

My brother inlaw has nothing but problems with Mickey Thompson ATZ's fitted to latest model patrol wagon .After go back to tyre dealer4 times they got tyre rep in to look at tyres. He finaly told him that their was nothing wrong with the tyres and it had to be the car that drove great before fitting them .He was all so the Cooper rep.He will buy new tyres (Never Micky or Coopers ) and try and sell these as it feels unsafe to drive.
