Hi everyone
Arrived in
Kununurra this afternoon. Chap next to me quickly pointed to one of the tyres on the camper trailer. Basically looks like bearings shot and tyre had gone onto an angle and run down to steel belt. Checked this morning before leaving
Katherine - but anyway, thats where we are at 500+km later.
Camper has been through a fair bit since Xmas - just short of 25000km.
Anyway - can anyone recommend someone in
Kununurra to replace the bearings and tyre. I will get both sides replaced at the same time.
Thanks in advance.
Alan

The repco is now on ivanhoe road near the
shell roadhouse, haven't used them myself but have heard good reports. Next to the Toyota dealer is an ARB
shop. I have had a fair bit of work done there and have been happy with the work and results. I haven't had a very good run with the Toyota/Holden/Nissan dealer in town....(they seem to be on a par with most dealers from what I hear). Vanderfields (
John deer dealer) may also be of help.
I hope this is of some help.
Cheers Andrew

Glad to hear Top End wasn't offered as a suggestion! There was a trailer place in town (name escapes me - was 2005 after all) and he was just fantastic. That would be for the bearing anyway.
Kind regards

Thanks to everyone for the replies.
Hmmm...now you have me. Repco had staff shortages and could not do anything until Tuesday of next week (Monday is public holiday in WA). They suggested Top End. Dropped in Saturday am. The guy there seemed very helpful - offered to fit me in first thing on Monday am (today). I then asked if he could have it all done by 11am (long story). He said he would try and as long as no other damage (ie just bearings), he would try. All done on time. I was very happy with service.
Now.. should I be worried :|......

Probably not, but my experience was far from yours and it started with a changing date (several times) for the work even though we rang and checked with them from
Katherine, they then botched the installation which then needed to be redone at another place in town (long story). Looks like they may have improved their game because you made it past both those hurdles.
Kind regards
