Hi to the avid ozi explorer users - I need some advice regarding maps. I have seen on another 4x4
forum ,reference to digital topo's for nsw - 1: 25000 scale .
Can any one shed light on these - do they exist within this
forum perhaps?
Can they be purchased some where as I am lowly moving away from having lots of maps in the car to having it online or accessible via the pda.
hope those in the know can help

There is a program called ozi map grabber,cannot remember where i got it from,maybe from the link that has just been provided for you (gpsaustralia)... It has NSW maps too.

The map DVD is free, you just have to convince someone to send it to you. There is a thread on the
forum where you can put your name down for a copy. It was working a bit like a chain letter where someone gets a copy, then copies it and sends 2 or 3 more copies onto others waiting and so on. Unfortunately a lot of poeple didn`t follow up on the copying and sending part after they recieved their copy.
Someone has done a BitTorrent file you can download off the net. Don`t know the URL for it though.
Probably faster if you email me personally with your address and I can send you a copy :)
