Hi Mark, Suggest you take a look at Michelle & David's (ExplorOz) travel diary where they recently completed a tour of the
Kimberley including
Gibb River Rd and campsites. Take a look at
http://www.exploroz.com/Journal/EOFieldTrip/northkimberleydiary.asp. Have fun.
Regards, Linda (ExplorOz team)

g/day mark. There is a excellent book published by ron & viv moon called The
kimberley An Adventures guide its available at most good book shops or try there web site www.netspace.net.au/~ronmoon.Mark. We travelled into the
kimberley 4 years ago its a magic place but you must allow plenty of time to really enjoy the
kimberley area. And have a
well prepared vehicle Wish i could come with you. Wasa

thanks wasa but I'm afraid I'll never buy another Ron Moon book since his inaccurate maps and mileages nearly got us lost in the
simpson desert.besides I dont like his attitude and opinions on most things I reckon he is full of his own importance and I question his real ability at offroad touring.
