can anyone tell me if you can get air suspension for the BA falcon station wagons.
or is it just as easy to put extra leaf in. towed my caravan up north over the weekend and would like a little bit more in the suspension. got the sway barsand it sits just a bit to low for me. thanks

Can probably get any reputable suspension place to fit another leaf in the pack and adjust the overload leaf for better towing.

Or try hear, they only list for AU wagons for the air kit but I don’t think there is much of a difference in set up between the AU-BA wagons

thank you exploder,
i have sent them a e-mail and will look at both options.
they are what i was looking for as the others i came across were $800- 900 which is a bit to much for me.

A few years ago I bought a pair of Monro pump up shocks which after slight modification replaced the FRONT originals on my L/C trayback (have Polyair on the back).
These shocks were ones specified for replacement of the rear for Ford Falcon.
If you do go this way, I would recommend you pipe them separately (the kit only provides for coupled). Being independant prevents air shift from one side to the other.
I run them at 40psi, makes a world of difference to the front end.

suspension in a ba is not up to carrying weight, just load the back and they sag. air bags is the only fix .

Hi Peter We have a BA MKII Wagon with Factory LPG and the suspension for towing is terrible. We fitted Polyairs to the rear and it improved dramatically, we have also used the Load plus device which works well although you need to get underneath each time you toe to crank up and then down when not towing otherwise its a bit stiff. We were towing our camper on the weekend and had to stop for roadwork on a rather steep section of road and the drivers side Ployair blew. The place where had it installed is going to replace tomorrow and install a heat shield, hopefully it will not happen again. Hope that helps.
