I normally do plenty of research being buying anything new for the troopy, however I bought a PWR intercooler (water to air) for the 1hz. Problem is this did not come with any hardware. Denco Diesel supply a full kit but will not supply hardware and plumbing only, hence I now must find someone to make the manifold adaptor and s/steel pipes to suit the troopy. This of course is a pain as most engineering firms I've spoken to are not interested in doing the job.
I will just have to be more careful in future.
Terry.

I think that is very bad customer service. If they are selling the product to fit to a vehicle then it should come with all the required fittings etc so you can actually use it. Would be like buying a computer but with the windows programme to run it is not installed and therefore cant be used. Can you get your money back ?? Bet they have done it that way so customers end up having to take the vehicle to them for fitment so they make more money that way. I have heard of plenty of people who buy turbo kits and everything is supplied ready to go. Wouldnt that come in the category of buying something but not usable by the customer therefore refund applicable ?? Regards Steve M

Stephen,
I may be wrong but I think he got it from someone other than Denco i.e only part of the kit that Denco would have sold. That's why he got it at a good price but without the necessary extras.

Hi ya Gramps,
well thats a different story then. I couldnt imagine a reputable turbo (Denco) place doing that. Regards Steve M

Gidday Stephen, Gramps is right, I didn't buy from Denco hence the problem. This was not a critical comment of Denco, more of a buyer beware scenario.

You may find you can buy the silicone hoses with the right bends and dia you need from Super Cheap and buy the s/s piping just about any where.
Cheers Bruce.
P.S. in case I may read it wrong....is there a hose going onto the inlet manifold from the turbo?

Hi Sludgie,
I have a 'cross over pipe' from a safari kit you can cut up to make the inlet manifold adapter, yours if you do the leg work. An exhaust
shop should be able to bend up a stainless turbo to intercooler inlet section of pipe.
Still have pictures if you want. Last turbo kit I did used a PWR intercooler, and can forward the details of the
shop in
Perth that did the work. Place in Malaga can help out with all the 'joining' sections of silicon hose (Couplers Malaga).
Probably fair that Denco don't want to sell the bits to make someone else's intercooler work.
Ross.
