hi
ok yea i know i am getting soft - but then i like fresh bread at lunch and my early morning toast and honey with a cup of tea when remote camping so i am thinking about a compact bread maker to take away - so am very interested to know if anyone is running a bread maker ( looking at the small breville 650 watt with 2 hour rapid cycle ) on a Honda 10 ei - Yes I know they will run on the Honda 20 e.i but thats not the question ok cause i dont have a 20 e.i - but i do have a 10 e.i
so my thanks for any serious feedback
see you greg

Yes they will, read back in the posts and there are bread machines running on inverters.

I don't think it's rocket science. Your honda 10ei is a 1kva gennie which is 1000 watts. So an appliance that needs only 650 of them will run fine. Rus.

thanks you for that r and m
yes i know it is 1000 watts and the bread maker is 650 watts but at start up the power draw down can be possibly 1.5 to 2 times running load so just wanted to see if any one had successfully run one and obviously you havent

dear greggu, we had a suzuki 700 gennie for a long time, rated at 550 watts or so and that worked the breville. Technically I haven't done it with a honda.(so to speak) So there. Rus.

Greg I used to run a bread maker with a 750 Robin , had a couple of failures with the genie stopping while on the resting mode , so what I had to do was leave a couple of lights on with it and no more trouble . ( with bread makers you can't restart when the power is interrupted . Take the dough out and make rolls ) Ps you can make a lot of friends out bush if you have one . cheers Roughneck

rough neck sorry
i am a bit cooking limited - so how the hell do you make the bread rolls in the bread maker - i assume take the dough out after mixing - roll into say 4 small balls and put back in without any more mixing - yes ??

thanks see you greg

greggu, Yes it will work cause I did exactly that.
My set up, EU10i, old bread maker (3hrs & 5 Mins) 3 stage Battery charger (DC on camper) Plug it in & charged everything whilst making bread for the next day. Helps when the next shop is 10 days away. All sold now as have finished big trip & re thinking my setup.
