Just wondering what the
views are on the following brands of Snorkels?
Safari, Airtek or Airflow.
I have a 03 100 Series V8 and will fit a
snorkel after the
feedback I got from the other thread.
Just wondering what one seems the best.
Regards

I agree with Nick, I've got a Safari and can't fault it. I actually got it for free and fitted for free when getting other items done on my LC100 a few years ago through an 4WD centre down this way.
No problems at all with it and unlike some snorkels the Safari gives you the option of turning the air ram around or fitting a precleaner like a Donaldson etc.

Visually they are different and thats purely personal pref. I have an airtek and prefer the more stream-lined appearance but that is not what swayed me away from the safari. On the 100s the safari requires the guard indicator light to be moved down lower on the guard.... so the indicator lights on the sides are no longer at the same height... small thing I guess but enough to sway me in a fairly even contest.
FWIW

If you want to put a Donaldson cyclone prefilter on for very dusty conditions, then the only one is a Safari.
