Happy Easter to all.

Damm Easter Bunny has forgotten where I live so had to provide my own b........y chocolates this morning.

Just a quick one for those ppl's in Adelaide. I'll be travelling over there with a couple of friends early in May to collect my CT and was wondering if any Adelaideites might be able to give me ideas about some cheap places to stay in the city area for a few nights.

I've done the "wotif" thing and have a bit of an idea but thought the locals might be able to help too.

And be safe out there this weekend - I've already been on the scene where a kid being hit by a boat and drowning (on Friday pm) and it's has made me realise just how fragile we are.

Thanks in advance.

G'day John
Close to the city and not a bad caravan pk, Levi, it's in Walkerville. 10min bus ride to city, or about an our walk along the torrens river(creek :). There is another in the suburb of Hackney, 15 min walk to the city. Not sure what this one is like, there is quite a bit of Housing Trust in the area.
If you are a pig like me, you will find we have some fantastic resurants.
Good luck.

G'day lyndon
Thanks for the reply. I did my basic training with the RAAF at Edinburgh Field many years ago so I'd like to revisit a few places. The other 2 coming over have never been to SA far less Adelaide so I want to have a few days to look about before heading home. Thanks for the info and yes we all enjoy our food.

Cheers

Hi DIO
Our little group is 2 blokes and 1 girl. None of us sleep together and both of the blokes (me being 1 of em snore) so what would be good is enough rooms with a bed to get us all a half decent nights sleep at a reasonable price. Not too fussy on what so any tips will be appreciated.

Cheers

We stayed in a cabin at the campsite in Hackney during the Test match, about $70 a night from memory. A nice pub on the corner.

We usually stay in South terrace at Hotel 208 but it was booked out. Their hotel rooms are around $89 a night for a Queen superior room or in the motel $79. It is handy for the City especially Coopers ale house on Pultney Street!!

There are a few hotels on South terrace, Ridges and the Chifley as well as Hotel 208.

CT Camper trailer what make?

Coincidence but we will be going to Adelaide to pick up a Adventure Offroad camper trailer soon

cheers

G'day Pom, (hope the abrev. is ok with you)
Thanks for the info re the hotels etc. We have no specific plans yet other then getting to Adelaide safely about 9th May, having a look about for a few days and then collecting the CT (Trak Shak) and getting home to Tamworth safely.

Cheers
