I liked the cartoon and I'm glad that John isn't so well endowed. That would've been a real worry!

I'm the third!! Partners family all descending upon us .... kids, easter eggs, hopefully some work done on the new laundry, lots of laughs, lots of noise and lots of fun. That's what I need. It's been a tough few months.

Best wishes to all for Easter

Rain, Roger...I wish!! But it's true that these holiday week ends seem to end up in tragedy for so many. Already there have been two fatalities in Vic. I sincerely hope that there are no more.

Tomorrow I am working in the garden pulling weeds etc for an Open Garden on Saturday.

The Peterborough Art Prize and Festival is in full swing. Saturday night there is Yarn Telling and Tea and Damper and I am providing the logistics.

Sunday, Monday working at the Exhibition and Tuesday we pack everything up again. Go Go Go.......lol

Just as well we have some Work for the Dole youngsters to help us.

Cheers

Thanks Motherhen

Have had around 1000 through the doors and some sales. Everyone has a good fell about it and the standard is high as usual.

This year I came up with a Community Painting idea and its going well. We have a sketch drawn on a large canvas and divided into 64 triangles. For a gold coin donation you can paint your picture in whichever colours you like. It is a fun thing. When the painting is completed we will have a plaque made with all the contributors names on it and the painting will do the rounds of our sponsors businesses.

I do hope that the Roosters' FE is the be all and end all of your travel enjoyment.

Cheers

We stopped going away at Easter a few years ago.

Whenever we wnet it rained or blew a gale.
It started when we first went away with friends.
So we stopped going with our friends , and they enjoy great weather!

Well, thats my excuse. :o)

I will get soem painting done and a few chores, and hopefully get a few days away later. We are nolonger tied into school holidays, so we can be a bit more flexible.

Not on your own.

After many years of camping trips for Easter, this year we're avoiding the crowds.
Told family and friends that we are going away, and instead we'll take it easy at home.

Hope you all have a good Easter break.

(Good news is we move to Mittagong in 2 weeks, not 4!!!! Good rain in last few months has turned dustbowl into long grass - can we borrow your slasher??) Bon voyage to you and Heather, mate. RayJen

Hello .- we are home also, not even having grandies to visit. The traffic along Mt Lindsay Highway since Thursday morning is unbelieveable - the two local camp areas - Flanagans has 800 booked in and Big Riggen 120!!! Then there's the traffic going over the border to Wodenbong to ride motorbikes of all types, then there's the traffic towing caravans campers etc. just going into NSW or parts beyond. Hard to get across the Highway to go to the Post Office, lucky for the old fellow that the pub's on our side of the Highway. He's going to sit there on the corner all Monday arvo watching them all come back again. Thought you were gone away already! Weather cooling off here, quite pleasant - about 14 in a.m. Not used to all this spare time at Easter - usually the start of our season! Have a good Easter whatever everyone is doing. Safe travels tho.
