can i drive my standard navara v6 to
cooktown over
easter along the track or is it best to go inland. i have some 4wd experience. i was concerned about the water crossings

All depends on the rain they have there in the previous months, Last time I travelled the Bloomfield was in Novermber and it was dry and not a problem, creeks/rivers were low.
However, best to ask around before travelling, but i would think you should be right.

G'day musher ,, for the last week we have only had a few showers up this way , the track may be a bit rough after all the past rain , but if you take your time you will be right ,, there are only a few main creek crossings , the main one being the Bloomfield ,, if you are unsure just wait a wile untill someone else comes along and crosses , then you'll know ,, won't wait long over
Easter ,, just take care , you'll enjoy it ..

check with some local national parksies either go on there web an email them ,but you will probly find the rd abit rough a mate of
mine has had his old navara across the top there but that was about 4yrs ago
do some research and drive safly
