Hi all,
I'm sure I've read an article in the last 12 months about custom made water bladders available for inside the panels of your 4bies, unfortunately Oldtimmers strikes again and I can't remember who makes these, can anyone help?
Rgds

Hi Ian,
Saw a guy fit these to the rear side cavities of his LC100. Looked neat originally. After some bush work, the plastic side liner panels were bulging horribly from outward pressure of the bladders. Unless the liner panels are reasonably stiff, you may need to fit some additional retaining panels inside the liner panels.
Seemed reliable otherwise.

I have just fitted a 50 lt one from Bias Boating to the foot
well in the rear. BIG prob with plastic taste. Have tried carb soda & now have it filled with a tank flushing solution. If this don't work I may have one going cheep !

Hey Noldi ..................
" ........ Getting old sux. ....."
Take it from another youthly-impaired human .......... getting old is cool
when you consider the ONLY alternative is being dead ??????
Have to keep reminding my less-than-tactful mates about this, as they oft-times remark disparagingly about my advanced years !!!!!!!!!
Me, I love it ..... you can excuse 'inadvertant anal explosions' on it with impunity !!

I have one but not that goes in the side -
mine is 110l and fits across the rear footwell, or in the back - it matters not. I've even had it on the roof - it did leak a little but it was the hose which needed tweaking, which has not been a problem since. When you're not using it rolls up into a newspaper sized roll - you can even hit your dog with it, I suspect.
Mine came from www.fabricolutions.com.au and I found them excellent to deal with, both on the telephone, and in person, and I would have no hesitation in recommending them.
Contact would be Paul Wrigley - "tell him I sent ya". 07 33824571
They can really do any shape, etc. right up to mega- bladders that go under your house and all sort of other interesting
places. They can do diesel storage bladders too.
If I had more time, I'd design one that went underneath the vehicle with a little bit of reinforcing/armour.
The idea of the side panels of my 100 series though, didn't really look like working ever.
Cheers
Andrew
