Kiwi jokes aside -

Has anyone found Sheepskin/Lambswool Seat covers to suit 3 seater 70 Series Cruisers?

I haven't been able to find covers to suit the 3/4 bench passenger side and getting tired of the Mrs complaining about the vinyl...

There's a guy at Ingleburn (NSW) custom makes them. Just had some made for the Troopy with Paratus seats. Really good job- pockets in the back for maps etc.
Really 'meaty' sheepskin. reinforced in all the right places...

Good I'll add one more thing that for front seats in a mates GQ it cost $195 for his standard cloth trim seat covers. But they are the ducks guts and very well made. I cant remember what the lambs wool ones cost.

I am currently saving pennies to get new ones for the X Trail front and rear as well as save some money for the new 70 series GXL ha ha ha

Cruiser,

If the one Signman isn't able to help and your in the Sydney region, don't forget that the Rosehill show is on in a couple of weeks and there is usually some custom seat cover manufacturers there, in the main grandstand.

Cheers Kev,

Usually never miss the Rosehill show but moved to Bris Vagas recently so it's a bit far to go these days...

Same story when the show gets to Brissy (6 - 12 June). There is one bloke who always exhibits, and I'll bet goes to Brisbane, who makes sheepskin covers from 4 inch squares sewn together. We went that way because they were only $180 for a pair for an 80s, and we figured at that price we could afford to replace them after 5 years. Well, ten years down the track and they look good enough still - have swapped sides once (which you could not do of course) and washed them in the machine after long outback trips and they come up trumps.

Can't for the life of me remember his brand, but they are distinguished by being "patchwork". If he does not have the troopy seat sizes, I'll bet he would make up a pair.

Good chance I reckon
