Does anyone have any thoughts or info on the update rodeo with the 3.0 CRD.
Better still has anyone got one?

I'm thinking of updating my Rodeo 04 twin cab pickup!

Just ordered one today. Sold the '04 LT diesel. The new model has to be driven to be appreciated. The difference in power & torque from the old model is huge. Even the standard model has electric windows & air bags. They threw in tinted windows, tow bar, aircon, tonneau cover, mats & a few other extras.

I'll be pulling a small 5th wheeler with mine. The GCM is 5,900 kgs. 1000 more than the old model.

Cheers

g'day Pat.

I think you're bang on the money. I had a good long drive of one late yesterday afternoon and I'm impressed (not something that happens that often)

They have managed to transform what was already a good thing.

I have had a go at all the new crop of twin cabs. IMHO the Rodeo 3.0 CRD 5speed leaves the others way behind. Specs are similar to Hilix, Triton, Ranger, Navara, BUT to drive is to believe. Talk about quiet and responsive.

I'm sold.

Now do I go LX or LT?

You do now get a lot of fruit with LX, but you get even more with LT.
Just wish they didn't put carpet in it.

When is your's getting deliverd Pat?
Have you seen the "Light Quartz Grey" in the metal.

Cheers Chris

Hey Chris, My '04 was an LT with the works, Carry Boy canopy, QLD bullbar etc. I've settled on a white as the delay on Imperial Blonde is about June & I can't wait. Cheryl needs another vehicle before then. This one gets delivered in 9 days. Can't wait to put a few 'clics on it !. I hope the white looks good with the tinted windows.

Cheers

I'd like to update my '03 RA, however as yet the new 3.0L CRD is not available in 4x4 space cab pick up. Hopefully more models may become available as time goes on. Of course the reply from Holden about increased model availability in the near future was about as useful as a double ended condom.

Cheers,
Dion.
