can any one give me a fair idea on what 2nd hand parts of worth I did phone a few wreckers today to get a range of different price's for different parts
list of parts are as follows, power steering, rims and tyres, gear box, diffs, side steps, bull bar, head, carby, new radiator, Extractors, doors, bonnet, spare tyre rack, roof racks, GAS tanks and heaps more.
I have copped a drilling over this on other site's, stuff knows why.

Methinks it is an FJ60 petrol, eh?
I would start asking $100 each for most things and go up from there or half of what the wreckers want. It depends on what condition the parts are in. An 1984 LC is worth around $4000 in a car yard so in real cost terms around $2000. So you can divide your parts into the 2 grand and work around it that way.

thank you for the reply Willem
Most parts are in good running order, Dad did alot of work on it in the past and paid top dollar on gear, the old girl has had it day and it will cost me heaps to repair the motor , money I dont have plus the roof rust is coming back for the third time, better off wrecking her and putting the funds towords another 4wd
Thanks for the tips

Last year I was lucky enough to buy a 78 series troopy wreck for $500, The bloke I got it from took of it what he needed and sold me the rest.
The end of the day I got 3/4 1hz motor gearbox transfer front and rear diffs, axles housings etc, windows, stub axles, bullbar, tow bar and 5 large tins of Toyota nuts bolts etc.
I thought about selling the motor to a 4wd wrecking company, but when they offered me $300 for it, I decided not to as the head a loan is worth $1000 +.
Luckily for me I can interchange the parts between my 78 troopy and my 2 100 series I will rebuild the motor and keep it as a spare, I have already used the gearbox and transfer as the one in the troopy blue up a week later.
Perhaps you could sell all the gear through the trading post, good luck.
Cheers Steve.
