BOOKED INTO CURANGO FOR A FEW DAYS. WOULD LIKE TO KNOW ENTRY ROUTES & CONDITIONS FROM BRINDABELLA OTHER THAN BROCKEN CART TRAIL. (LEAVING SYDNEY A M WED 7/3)

Just for info. Broken Cart recently had a bulldozer put through and is now in very good condition.....2 wheel drive vehicle would have now issue getting through....Thought you may be interested?

Another way is the Snowy Mts Hwy from Cooma. Not long after entering the Nat Park take the first turn to the right to Tantangra Dam. Cross dam wall to Curango Homestead.

I dont think there are to many options other than the black top.
The road though Canberra and then south though Namadgi NP and out at the back of Adaminaby is fairly straight forward. Could be good for the loop home.
In an earlier post you mentioned Wee jasper, I have not traveled it but I think you can continue on from wee jasper past Micalong and onto the brindy road. From there, you'd need to travel to Tumut and along the snowy mountains hwy. Apart from broken cart/boundary road , most of the country is private, wilderness or otherwise closed. There is a good chace you could weave through some forresty road to avoid Tumut, but this usally consumes more time that its worth ( its easy to get lost).
Driving along this section of the SM Hwy you'll get to see some of the snowy scheme.
