I had one of these for three years and took it
Vic High Country, SA desert tracks,
Flinders Ranges and never had a problem with anything let alone steering links.Only sold it because we went to live in the
Pilbara for a year and the heat there caused us to experience its only downfall - overheating.(but only when towing the CT with the aircon on)

The steering linkages are under engerneered for these vehicles, and can bend. I have been through 3 idler arms over the last 2 years due to 4wding. There are a few heavy duty parts available, Calmini do one. You can find tons of information on 4x4parts
NPORA
If you have bent your idler arm, you can make a bracket to strengthen it, other than that you will have to go with standard kit.
