Hi folks,
Any thoughts and comments on the new 3L Mazda BT50 would be greatly appreciated - engine, handling, comfort etc.
The girlfriend's parents are looking for a new single cab 4x4 ute for the
farm and seem impressed with the new BT50 3L TD - both for it's features and most importantly price.
The others they have looked at include the 06 Rodeo and new Triton (both TDs) and the quotes they have on these 3 vehicles are all within $2000 by the time accessories eg. bullbar, towbar are included.
Thanks for any help!

Check out the latest 4wd Monthly magazine, April edition.
It has a write up on the BT50.
I haven't looked into them so can't really add anything other than
check the article out.
Cheers Kev

Azo082, is it true that a new Rodeo is about the place? Many folk appeared to be disappointed in the last edition. Jeff.

Yes. The salesman mentioned a new(?) or slightly tuned diesel with approx 120kW. New front guard, headlights etc.
I think the specs may be on the Holden website as they list the 3L with 120kW and my understanding is the current run-out model (2006) is about 90kW?

Thanks Azo ; will look. I just get a bad feeling that a lot of "ute" type vehicles (All makes), are going "City". No real reason to say that, (I'm not even a mechanic's monkey), just a gut feeling. Jeff.
