Interesting to note that when my son sent me the link a few days ago, it was $38,000 reserve not met, no bids. Now it is less that a day from closing time, it is $35,000 reserve not met, no bids.

I have reservations about purchasing a vehicle, or anything that expensive, sight unseen through eBay. Advert does not give any kms, either for since V8 fitted, or for the whole life of Patrol.

I'd still like to see a V8 and decent auto gearbox in my Patrol.

I drove this particular vehicle about 2 years ago. Was nice and tight but I thought the diff ratios could have been higher even though they had been changed. Too many revs (2,200RPM?) at 110kmh for my liking. About 1,800 would be nice on a N/A 6.5 IMHO.

It was the bloke form Brunswick's (Greg?) wifes car. He tried selling it for $45K without much luck. I believe it then went on to the lot at Ron Krikke Auto's in Bunbury. Stayed there for quite some time too.

Could be worth a squiz.

Yes, I think it was Greg wife's car - Sue Jones. I'd say it would be well looked after and quite a nice truck. Greg keeps his own cars in good order.

Sue now drives a later model Nissan. I beleive this new one to be the one that Greg bought brand new and ripped the Nissan donk out within 2 days! Replaced it with a Chev and sent it back to Bunbury Nissan for it's first free service (and for a joke) - but didn't tell em about the new donk - chaos!@

If I didn't already have one, I'd buy it - but I'd haggle even though it's reasonable at $35K.

Given that it's 20 - 30k for a conversion it could be a bargain, but need more info. Goes to show that if you do such a conversion it's worth keeping for a long time!
