follow up Paj won't start

Greetings, The pajero still won't go, spark comming out of coil no spark comming out of the dizzy 3ltr petrol
replaced the module in the dizzy still nothing had leaking water on the passenger side could it have penertrated some vital electrics e.g. relay, computer etc. this driving me nuts. Thanks...........Hazza

Do the simple checks like fuel pressure and flow . check injector pulse.

I probably has a crank angle sensor too which will stop it if disconnected or broken.

How did you determine there is spark coming out of the coil and not coming out
of the distributor.

Late yesterday I handed it over to the Rawsons the local mechanic in Officer Vic they are very good hopefully they will sort it quickly.

As of the other day they still had not found the problem replaced the module in the dizzy but no luck now they back tracking the problem,I've got the burgandy coloured Paj excuse the spelling I'am just around the corner from Rawsons.

I would be checking for a cracked distributer cap or rotor button or your leads may have to high a resistance. Barnray

Happened to me this one. Different car but same symptom. Went through water, car stopped. Changed coil, leads, rotor, plugs anded up a hairline crack in dizzy cap.

Spark goes in then dissappears.

Very common problem , you did the module , now change your computer , left front kick panel , they alway blow hand in hand.
