I have purchased a BARRET EB250RC HF it use to belong to downunder tours manager in
ALICE SPRINGS it is great I can dial up any frequency and listen but I can only transmit on those which the tour company had it locked onto can anybody help me unlock this radio so I can get some use out of it

The SB250 RC can be reprogrammed easily enough. It does involve taking the remote head to bits, a daunting task for some as things are easily damaged. If you want to go down this path give Steve at Barrett Communications a bell and he should be able to help.
Otherwise you could take it to a local comms company, or zap it across to me.
