Hi all

seeking some advice if I could from Disco 2 owners. Friends have 2000 Disco and RH rear airbag deflates intermittently, which is an obvious problem with 2 tonne van on behind.

Problem is only when parked on uneven ground and as I said intermittent. Alan has taken it in for check by the local dealer and their majic black box says problem is with LH rear bag (Murphy at work or wired up wrong I suspect).

Suspect either intermittent exhaust valve or inlet non-return valve type problem but dealer wasn't helpful when they wanted to fit 2 new bags first ($1200 or so) and they intermittently stay inflated - so I suspect there is no leak at the bags or they would deflate when parked ( some logic here I trust).

Any help appreciated if you have experienced any thing like this.

Cheers Barry

I'd say it has a small leak, or a leak in the air line from the compressor, get some soapy water in a spray bottle and pump them up and spray the soa[ie water along the line and joins and the air bag too.

Anymore info, go to the web link that is mentioned above, AULRO, it's a great Landy forum that has heaps of info and people to help.
