Hi guys

This may seem a silly question but I want to know what is the best way to protect a 6mm twin wire that I intend too feed through a hole in the side or bottom of a trailer.

I will drill the hole then feed the wire through but then what do i do to stop the wire rubbing raw etc. I thought put some silicon there but don't think that would be too good .

cheers

pixiemops,
a rubber gland to accomodate the wire and hole drilled to suit. This will pretty much water/dust proof it also.

I picked up some rubber grommets from the local hardware store and it did the job

If it is in the body, for a few cents you get dust & water proof compression glands from any electrical wholesaler like Middendorps etc.
