Australia wide Hairy. Like you, we will need to do some shopping anyway, so might as well do it at Woolies and on that day. Every little bit helps.

Well good on good old Roger Corbett Wow what a man...
I only have a few questions:
1) Who is doing the Audit on the profits to make sure all the profits goes to the CWA for distribution?
2)Why don't Woolworths support the poor buggers on the land who are doing it tough all the time by sourcing their produce from AUSSIE suppliers instead of overseas?
3) Why do Woolworths only do this with a big fanfare and media presence?
4) Why are we all so niave to think that good old Roger is doing this for the benifit of those who he is activley shafting, ie Aussie producers?

Sorry for my burst of cynicsm folks, I'm not saying that those doing it tough should not get a hand when they need it, I hope that they get the 3 million that Roger recons he can give them. I put it to you though that with all the support that the rest of us are going to give by shopping at Woolwarths tomorrow that the daily profit may well exceed the 3 million, maybe even double to 6 million & I'll wager that only "around 3 million" ever get to those in need.

No I think this is a publicity stunt, Woolworths have raped Aussie producers now they want to make even more money out of the people they claim they are supporting...
