Just a few times I have turned right to full lock like into a park the steering seems to stop
well before full lock, about half full lock I would say.
I turn left a little then right again and all is
well. Full lock again.
This has happened twice in the last few days and I am getting a bit worried. If I take it to Nissan they may not have it happen and will not find a problem.
Any ideas where or what to look for???

Have you checked your Power Steering fluid level?? .. if level is OK, there may be an air-lock in there....

Have you checked that your steering damper doesn't have a dent in it?

Phillip,
I took the damper off and thing appear to operate normal.
I put it back on and I could feel something about half lock so I will change the damper. No evidence of damage on the outside.
Sort of thing Mr Nissan would not find I think. You know, sometimes there sometimes not.
Thanks to all for their suggestions.
