Take the coastal (NP) road up to 1770 and Agnes Waters.

or

Head south down through Kinkuna NP and onto Woodgate.

Plenty of driving within and hour (and a bit) of Bundy...

(I do know of a little 350 acres just south of Childers too ;-) )

Dave do you allow visitors to your block? Kinda know where it is as I'm in Childers. Always looking for challenging tracks!
Cheers!

kinda!!??

We allow clubs to visit for a gold coin donation, (and camp if they wish).

Clubs carry their own PLI of course, individuals usually do not...

You could possibly come along as a visitor next time there is a club run up there!

A little further to the north is the Liberator bomber wreck in Kroombit Tops. Go up the highway to north and hook a left to Calliope. Need a forestry permit (free) obtainable at Gladstone or Rockhampton.

Pine creek state forest between Cordalba and Bundaberg has some great tracks. You just need a vehicle permit first. Watalgan State forest just north of Bundy is also supposed to be a good spot. Same thing applies with the permit. Permit easy to get from EPA office in Quay street.
