I have noticed on numorous threads the use of Qubelock by Capral in the making on rear storage systems .I am wanting more info on it but can"t find who the distributors are or if its available up this way (
Gold Coast). If anyone has had any dealings with it and knows where it's available from any help would be appreciated. Even a web address will do.
Cheers Dave

Hi Dave,
Think you might have to come up to Brizzy to get the stuff for a reasonable price mate.
Ullrich Metals in Beaty rd Archerfield 32745862 also manufacture the same thing and sell it to the general public (cash only).
I think the last lot I got from there cost somewhere round the $13 per 6m length for the square tubing and 40-50c per cnr piece, don't buy the cnr bits from them rip-off mongrels at Clark Rubber, they were trying to flog them for about 5 bucks each at their Browns Plains store.
These prices could be slightly out (I can't find the latest invoice ) so give them a ring to check.
Not sure what vehicle you're building it to suit or if you've seen this stuff used before but have a look here for a few ideas and it might help a bit.
Avagoodn

Bunnings sell it as "Connect It".
I used it to build my storage system and have had a few plastic joints break on rough tracks (OTL). The joints that broke did not have a timber wall to act as a brace. As long as all the corners are braced it should be OK.

Hi Dave, I used qubelok (costs $1.05 ea connector)to make my storage system and fridge mount for my new Prado and used 3mm alloy sheet. All up cost me about $600 with carpet and fridge lock. Held into place with existing tie down points with stainless turn buckle thingys. Capral Aluminium at Zillmere cut the sizes for me from one big sheet. Used Adhesive and pop rivets to hold together, very strong and about 40Kgs. Can send pictures if you like.
Regards
Ian
