Hi i was wondering if anyone had info or could tell me where i would find the duplex button on an UF2020 Pearce Simpson radio. thanks Ash

Thank you for the doc Tony, now looking at the mannual i have realised there was no way i was going to get it to work properly without the manual.

Hi Tony with the scanner mode does it automaticly pick the Frequency up when its in the 99 channell mode or do i need to some how specify a Frequency for it. Regards Ash.

Ash, in scan mode it will scan either all of the 40 or 99 channels if you have them (the 99 channels selected)
You can save a channel above ch 40 as a priority channel & then revert back to the standard 40 channel setup. You should also be able to set up a memory channel scan but haven't looked at this for a long long time.
Unless your police
services are using the analouge
services, then the police receive will be about usless.
For what it is worth, in rural areas in Victoria, the police either still use UHF with an automatic translator on VHF (164Mhz) or are using the VHF radios which can be heard from translators in the Metro area.
