Interesting piece.
Of course produced by America's Oil and Natural Gas Industry
who couldn't possibly have an axe to grind ...
lies, damned lies and statistics ...
It does show how piddlingly small Australia is in this market we all play in, and why the government has no control over reasonable prices compared to other economies ... it is time the Australian fuel market was TOTALLY REGULATED.
Ciao for now
Andrew.

I was wondering when someone was going to say something......I have been in the US for nearly 12 months now and we pay about $3.20 per gallon that's roughly $4.30 AU per 3.78l so still allot cheaper over here. I also found that the people here don't complain when the prices go up...you hear it every now and again but there is nothing you can do about....you need to get from A to B so you fill up again

That's about $1.13/L, which is not that much cheaper.

We pay around 146.9 per ltr in
Scone NSW, thats about 33 cents a ltr more, or about $24.75 per fill up for the troopy.I use about 1.5 tanks per week. Give me the $1.13 the yanks pay any day!

I visit some US 4WD forums and Fuel prices come up once in a wile, as you say 3.20 a gallon or cheaper. I am like what are you all complaining about I just payed 1.33 per litre, LOL.
The
forum operator even changed the site Name at one point to “Serious Equestrians” saying, “due to the high Gas prices he was unable to run his 4WD so sold it and had brought a Horse and cart” LOL
