I have one from 4WD Systems and have had no dramas thus far. Was heaps cheaper than the rest and free freight too. NO effect on rampover angle at all to my 80 Series. Needed to beef up
suspension (was on the books anyway) and made it easier to justify to the Government.

Mudguard, 4WD systems in SA have a replacement main tank at 159 litres. Not sure if they market a replacement aux tank as you asked. But I would like to see one fitted myself, before I was happy about not compromising the ramp-over angle as you said.I would doubt that you would get more than 20 to 30 litres extra and at a cost of $700 to $800 it's a lot of money for 20 litres?????

Im arguing this at the moment too. Value of long range tanks. Theres about $30 in material I would guess? Anyone ideas?
I have a GQ and want to put an AUX out of a GU in... 30 ltrs should cost me nicks as they throw out GU Aux tanks when they replace them!
but $600-900 for a 145ltr Longranger etc(95 is std on GQ) is NUTS...
3 Jerry cans can be had for $15ea! Thats nearly MORE than the long range ones!

Mudguard, I have replaced the 30 litre aux tank on my GU II patrol with an 80 litre tank from Opposite Lock. Now have a total of 175 litres. No change to rampover angle. Cost about $1000 fitted. At the time seemed a lot of moola for an extra 50 litres but now do not have to carry jerry cans. Gary

Truckster - No unfortunately. The Minister for War reckoned I had enough stuff laying around and would not let me keep it. Gary
