Hi all
Me and the misses are just about ready to 'drop out' and travel around Oz. We are thinking of tyring to find work when we can. We are both early 50's and we need help from any of you that might have done something similar. Is it hard to find work? I can drive big jiggers and she is clerical etc.
Cheers

Hi
My husband and i travelled Australia in 2001/2002. Both in our 30's. We got offers of work in LOTS of
places. He is a builder and i have worked in tourist industry, we were offered work in those fields and many others. Most of the time we didnt want it 'cause we still had pennies in the bank. If you are keen to work and dont mind what you do (
well almost anything LOL) you will find work. Ask at the van parks when you
check in, they generally know if there is anything about. Also try the notice boards at supermarkets and backpackers. We got a couple of good jobs from the local paper in some small towns.
dont forget to see and do lots of things - dont work all the time !
good luck and have fun
Ellen
