Biodiesel is finally available in
Geraldton and Bunbury thru GULL as B20 (20%) and cheaper than any other diesel by a few cents. Be a good idea to support them as we will only be left with Coles and Woolies soon otherwise.
Has anyone else clicked on that the 4 cents discount, which was 4 % at $1 a litre is only 2 1/2% at $1.50?
So the discount just keeps dwindling as fuel prices inevitably rise.
On top of that our
supermarket fuel outlet has installed a machine to charge for tyre air, $1 , and justifies it by saying it is for raising funds for Heart Research. Actually they donate 10% of the proceeds, a worker told me.
I have no connection at all to any fuel company etc, just a concerned motorist!

I purchased some Biodiesel from the Gull in Bunbury over the
Easter weekend - I have been waiting for this product for awhile and am glad that it is finally here. I live in Rockingham and the Gull at Warnbro apparatently sells it - so I will be making this my local!!! - as
well as one at Mandurah.

Here's another web address for those interested in brewing their own ..... just don't tell whoever supplies you with the base oil (fish and chip
shop or whatever) or they'll start charging for it!
And certainly don't tell the government or they'll want their slice as
well.

Just rang my local Gull in Wangara WA and asked the question.
They are selling it 3 cents below the prevailing diesel price.
It will take a tank full or two before you start running on 100% bio-diesel and get the benefits.

I think you will find it is B20, not 100% but 20% bio 80% mineral

For all who are interested, about 8 Gulls are selling Biodiesel, inclduign Gull Upper Swan (Gingers).
The fuelwatch website lists the Gull who sell it, but it is not part of the usual price search. They have a separate link for the Biodiesel.
Also, Liqourland is currently doing 20 cents off per litre, which makes it reasonably cheaper, but still like to support the local Gull (when $$ allow).

I wasnt aware there were other sites also. In our local rag it said they were trialing it in Gero and Bunbury. All the better though.
