Not quite a 4WD trip report but thought somemight be interested in a couple of pics I took today in Barcelona - on business. Spent some time in the Sagrada Familia - the Gaudi work in progress. An amazing place and highly recommended if your coming to Europe.

Peter, you are right, it is a great place to visit. Best to try to look like a local if you dona't want to get rolled though. Quite a few Aussies that were there at the same time we were seemed to attract attention like that. We didn't dress in support tee shirts at nights and I guess that diffrayed attention.
We were there to watch the Davis Cup in 2000 and reckon the Spaniards don't really appreciate the finer points of tennis as it was a bullfighting crowd in the way it reacted. That is where I learned to support Lleyton and appreciate his fighting spirit against a hostile crowd.
It would be greatr to get back to Spain sometime though.

Dear Peter,
I spent a fortnight travelling around Spain with my daughter last June. It was great and Barcelona was wonderful. We visited the Sagrada Familia too. I thought it was the most amazing building. Your photos brought back some lovely memories.

Unfortunately not this time too busy at
home. Jan was in China in March stocking up. Off to the Cape this year so might catch up next year unless your coming to
Melbourne for the cup?
