Tried my new throttle surge control device over the weekend whilst out with the club. What a marvellous device. No more uncontrollede throttle surging over the ruff stuff. Wish I'd done it sooner.......

It's pretty high tech and has been discussed on here before, but I've never used one until now....................
A piece of sponge under the accelerator pedal.
Because of the electronic throttle it's VERY touchy off road, with every bump, your foot inadvertently depresses the accelerator, leading to kangaroo hopping. This sponge stops that happening, while still having throttle control.

Good one, always been a bit of a problem with the electronic throttle control. I did hear at one stage that Nissan Had bought out a fix for it but never pursued it.

What sort of foam did you use, and exactly where is it positioned? How does it stay in place?

Mark,
Any piece of foam (about 2" thick) will do, car washing sponge etc, I've used foam similar to that in a foam matress. Just cut out a square large enough to sit under the accelerator pedal (just compress slightly). It stayed in place the whole day, and removed it once back on the road.
