hi
i drive a hilux 3.0ltr, IFS.
just wondering if a new steering dampener like a tough dog or rancho are worth their $$$$
do they make much difference?
the majority of my driving is on fire trails, corrugations, mud tracks and the odd bit of
rock tracks.
any help would be greatly apprciated.
cheers
JB

JB,
I got a IFS 2003 V6, and I didnt fit the steering dampner until I fitted me 265/75x16 BFG A/T's. Me lux has got the $-Way return to center dampner from O/L. Works fine, especially with larger, heavier rubber than standard. Bit of fiddling around to get it adjust right when you fit it so your car doesnt pull too much either way but she rides like a dream.

sounds great!
did you fit the 265/75x16 with a standard
suspension? I was thinking of doing the same once my 31x10.5 run out!
cheers
