Yes! A guy called Steve Hobbs who worked at PRO-COMP 4x4 did just that and used to run it on the road and in winch competitions.
From memory it had on board controllers etc.
He has sold it now, and changed employment due to family reasons.
However if you ring PRO-COMP on 03 9705 6677 and talk to either Henry or Richard, they will be able to point you in the right direction.
You might have to wait until after the festive season to contact them. Not sure of
their closure dates over X-mas/New Year.

theres also a dude on Outerlimits that did it on a GU comp truck, also ended up throwing it to crap.

I met a guy in
Ceduna who had done it to the rear of his GQ.
His prime reason was to allow for ease of loading/unloading his traytop camper. It worked great from what I could see and he was very happy. He had it done in
Bendigo or
Ballarat I think.
I think he was a member of Wanderers 4wd club. If I can find more details I will let you know.

I assume you are referring to a coil rear, not leaf? And you want to replace the coils, not fit something inside (which wears through and goes Phutt.)
From observation, the Polyair bags meant for leaf springs (have them on my 75 tray) are identical to the ones used on buses, B double etc. They are a bellows system, centre reinforced to maintain bag alignment, pressure to 100psi.
To me, they would be the DG's for coil replacement.

Should have said identical in appearance, certainly not in size!
