Wow, the sleigh was loaded down a bit bringing me a new 3" mandrel bent for Moses farting. I am not sure how much pleasurable time I should allow for this and how much is work. I do remember the signature of one of the folks here, that "one under car with tool in hand is not necessarily a mechanic". Wellk thats me - not a mechanic. You better come down for that BBQ Bonz........., oh, your not one either.

When do you intend doing it.

As I may be available for a working-beer on Moses.

Also keep in mind:

Do what's right. Do it right. Do it right now

Hell, there are no rules here--we're trying to accomplish something.

Imagination is more important than knowledge

An ounce of patience is worth a pound of brains.

If the facts don't fit the theory, change the facts.

Automatic simply means that you can't repair it yourself.

Any sufficiently advanced technology is indistinguishable from magic.

and last but not least for 2005.

Technology: No Place for Wimps

Merry x-mas Mr & Mrs Moses

Much of the dirty bit of getting the old one is off is done, you are a bit slow getting here. Mr GMC was needed to cut a bolt but just the pipes to get off the turbo now and the front pipe.

Ea-ah! you rat bag. Its X-mas day, so what are you doing slaving away on the 'boy' today.

SWMBO works the next three nights so we aren't going anywhere until Thurs, then it might be a visit to the Romsey 'Als'. That makes it a weekend visit for me/us.

You might have it all fixed by then and want to try it out on some reasonable JEEP friendly Otway tracks.

Mr Lucy

Bruce's hour was taken up just doing up the nuts on the new dump pipe. The removal took a little longer. He sounds a lot more business like even with a muffler on. Not quite finished as I have to fit the over-axle tail pipe. Wants to go a lot easier and as I timed him up the 100 kph I should be able to give a good percentage improvement.

I have just the tracks for you in the Otways, but pity you couldn't spend a little longer and drive just a little further. Public roads though are hardly Jeep friendly here. I don't think the Romsey Als will be home yet a while.

Have a good one mate..........

Actually gramps, Bonz and his Mig - its an old series MiG-21 and not a match for a GU Moses with a Beaudesert 3" exhaust being about 16% faster to 100 kph than it was yesterday morning.

Made a great note Bonz, before I put the muffler on.... {:-)

Moses needed a little more speed, must have been pretty embarrassing having a naturally aspirated LANDCRUISER 60 with a 2H motor doing the 0-100 4 seconds quicker!!!
Can't wait to tell Willem!!!
She does have extractors though......

Well Nick R, I guess the 60 only weighs about 1200-1400 kgs less too and may be more. Good to get the true story out rather than just the funny side

John, we all know that we shouldn't let the truth get in the way of a good story. Well the 60 does give away a few years on the GU and it would be akin to running up the hill against someone like Nick.

Heather will be so impressed at the new economy from the gaseous escape ........;-)

Heather told me about your message when she came out to take photos with me underneath. I didn't think she was still interested to take pics up the leg of my shorts....... She said she didn't.
