To all my fellow forumites.

I've enjoyed my time on line with you all this year. All the best to you and your families over Christmas. May it be a safe one.

I'm working all day tomorrow and hope that none of you travelling through my patch (or anyone of my colleagues patches around the traps) will have cause to see me.

As I've not contributed to the funnies this year I thought I'd contribute for christmas.

Why Santa didn't answer your letter.... (movie file - bout 1 meg)

Hope it wasn't your letter - and that the ARB or TJM fairies are generous.

Dave I'm sure you're a nice bloke, in fact I know you are. But there's no way I want to meet you in uniform. I can see it now, "Oh I know this one...send him back !".
A Merry Xmas to you and yours, and I hope that tomorrow is a slow day for you.
Cheers

Happy Christmas Dave .

If it's slow tomorrow , you can sit there and give some thought to what neat new gadgets you can design for the car in the New Year .

One thing that I thought was great I saw out in the desert , was guys with the fold out firewood holders on their bull bars .This sort of thing would now be illegal , but maybe you could design one that was removeable .

Cheers ,

Willie .

Hey Dave, (assuming you are one of the original blue collar workers) I reackon I'm not the only one who really appreciates the job you and your collegue's do and am bloody glad you do it because I don't wanna do it and it would be absolute chaos out there if you didn't.
Can't say I agree with all the pedantic rules you are there to enforce but I'm glad there are some rules and they are enforced.

So thankyou! When you do get your time off have a great time, and look forward to an excellent new year.

No enforcement here t0me. I just pick up all the gorey pieces that result when the pedantic rules aren't followed and cart them off to hospital..

In Vic we wear dark blue so the blue collar is still an accurate description.

Thanks for your thoughts though. Quiet day so far...

Dave

Shift over and very quiet day.

If you are travelling tomorrow take care.

I'm not working this New Years - for the first time in quite a while - though Lynne will be.

I hope a few people got a Candy Canvas fridge slide in their stocking, the guy selling them seemed a decent bloke when I was talking to him on the phone the other day.

Hey Truckster,

You've lost me. To quote an infamous politician/jailbird "Please Explain"
