Have tried restoring to

Have saved
forum page over existing...but no!
Have reset IE tools - options - advanced to default but no!

It's the site.
It takes me two tries to get it, the first one gets this Microsoft message or something.
Also, what DID happen to the buttons on the top of the threads?

Strewth, I must be the 'most dedicated' member of EO altogether (or, put another way...."a poor sad-arsed bastard"), cos I've actaully got EO as
my Home Page........
Even so, I too have had a couple of occasions when I have had to Refresh the puter to "get it up" , so to speak. hehehehehe

It seems to be working OK now - just the site having a bad day i think, as it was doing this for about 24 hours; took 2 or three tries of getting "can't find URL" before coming in, even when i was just refreshing the page. Maybe it was overloaded as we were all trying too hard to log on to our favourite
forum.

some do some dont?
well after I posted this problem, and while entering some invoicing in quickbooks, no surfing or login to any other sites, Vet anti virus came up with a threat......Istbar trojan
vet got rid of it
rebooted and still didnt work
went looking on net and found Istabar removal tool from Symantec and ran to make sure istbar not there.
got back late afternoon and removal tool found nothing or so the log said.
rebooted all ok?
was it the site or istbar?
