Gday all,

after some quick feedback if possible - looking at a 2002 100series
4.2L diesel (assume non turbo) 98,000Km GXL model

asking ~29K is this a reasonable deal - also what sort of K's should the
diesel be good for?
cheers

John

Howdy, with 98,000 km on the clock at least you'll eascape the $1,000+ dealer charge for an 80k service. (EVERY cloud has a 'silver lining'). Cheers

John

29K seems about right. Looking at the trader down here in vic and they generally seem to be going for that.

I bought a 2000 model 105 series cruiser about a year ago - 60,000 on the clock - aftermarket turbo, kaymer rear bar, new shocks and springs, arb b/bar and 12K which - - along with a list of other stuff - for $39,000 ---- so you're price seems pretty good.

Hi John

www.redbook.com.au guide reads for a 2002 HZJR GXL with 45000 - 75000 K (I think this is an average of the Ks they think the vehicle should have done in the time period). Private sale price range is $34000 to $40000.

was waiting for someone to say that although i reckon it may have been a good buy if not only for parts the email we got described it as having been used extensivly underground and in need of considerable repair
