Wishing all the forumites a very happy Christmas, and if you are travelling, enjoy your trip and return safely.

Thanks to all those who have responded with good advice to all my questions. I don't make any 4wd related purchase without first consulting the experts here on ExplorOz. The wealth of knowledge and experience so freely shared makes this my number one forum.

Special thanks to David, Michelle, Juliana and the team for running such a good website, and constantly adding improvements such as the thread watch.

May you all have a lovely Christmas wherever you choose to spend it, and may 2006 bring good things to you and your families.

Our camera project is on hold at the moment too. Camera is on the back of the caravan but not yet connected to batteries. Patrol is down far away where my husband is helping son trying to harvest amongst the damp weather. He has the receiver and monitor mounted in the Patrol, but last report, he had blown up two resisters he was making to limit the power to the cameras or something. Then the cigarette lighter socket will not work anything except the cheap looking blue plastic Chinese 4 plug adapter i bought and he hated; none of the stuff will work directly from the socket, nor will the black not so ugly and cheap looking 4 plug adapter from super cheap. Hooray for the Chinese!

Hi JD - Rest assured you have certainly never offended me. I am somewhat amused that our good hosts choose to delete any thread that makes mention of a 'feline'. Some people do get emotional, others just post some real funny bits into these threads. I even made mention of time to put the c a t out in one thread on another topic very late one night - and that bit seemed to disappear too. Strange that my picture of a 'feline' would not even appear, even though in my gallery it is locked due to the posting! Merry Christmas to you and all your household, including the siamese.

All too bizarre - no picture, just a sentence repeating itself!

Hi Willem - Believe or not NO! We had light showers last night, and more forecast for Thursday/Friday. Harvesting progressing very slowly. We'll certainly invite you back next drought. All the best, Motherhen

Hi Truckster - perhaps we could market Willem around the world as a drought-breaker.

Cheers
